I walk in the shadow of the valley of death and my trauma say 

you will die here 

you are small here

you are vulnerable 

it is dangerous and you are unarmed

are you sure you want to walk 

through this valley?

And I say haven’t 

I survived all of the other valleys 

have I not had weapons against me attempting to prosper 

and still not doing so 

have I not risen from the ashes 

after three days haven’t I resurrected

Ye of so little faith and so much squalor

How dare you speak in the presence of a reflection of the Almighty God, universe.

How dare you place yourself into the smallest box when you are an entity?

These inner demons screech and scream fighting to keep me stagnant and mortal

I command over them. 

Silencing myself
